I have been teaching Viola and Violin for over 25 years. The vast majority of my experience is with students ages 10 and up, but I have recently completed my teacher training for Suzuki Unit 1, so I am looking forward to starting my Suzuki program!
I started playing at 15, so I alsochave a strong rapport with Adult Beginners. If you have ever thought about learning to play violin or viola or if you played in middle or high school and want to start back, don't wait! It's not the easiest of hobbies, but it is extremely interesting.☺
My teaching focus is on building a strong foundation for playing so that my students will enjoy their time with the instrument and will have the necessary skills to achieve their musical goals.
